Yay!
I'm doing it toooo.
Yay!
I'm doing it toooo.
I'm thinking of having a go again, never finished yet though and I have no ideas at the moment.
However for some reason I do have an image of a boy watching a funeral from behind a gravestone.
Goodluck one and all.

I think it was Marc Blake.

Perv!
Does everyone have an idea of what they're going to write?
Just signed up for this - haven't done it before. Seems like a good way to get writing.
No idea what I'm going to write yet.
I've got a couple of starting points. I'll just do what I usually do and start writing and see where it goes.
Just a couple of hours to go before it starts.
I've had several ideas - then when I wanted to make some notes I totally forgot what I was going to do.
Anyway - I'll be starting after midnight.
835 words written so far and now I'm off to bed. Not a bad start for the first hour and I'll do some more in the morning.
The target is about 1,667 words a day so I'm on schedule - although I said the same thing last year after about 5 days. Then I stumbled a bit and failed miserably.
Anyway - this year it will be different - honestly!
666 words and it took ages. I don't think I'll finish this!
I've gone with something I previously wrote 10 pages of for 'Red Planet'.
I'm finding re-writing irresistible. And, because it's set in Soho in 1958, I keep researching background stuff. (For anyone who's interested, Arsenal 2 Blackpool 3 is a result from Jan 1958.)
I'm cheating for the first time this year. Started writing last month.
I should really be put in the stocks or something. Very naughty.
I don't know. The idea is you start from scratch on 1st November. You're only cheating yourselves.
Up to 1928 words so far and off to bed. G'night.
1300 words yesterday. so already 350+ words down.
I've uploaded the first page as an excerpt for all my great mates in the Nano community!
Mine's basically autobiographical with some bits added to make it interesting.
What colour hair does the main character have?
Quote: zooo @ November 2 2010, 12:24 PM BSTWhat colour hair does the main character have?
Green. Well it does cover a long period of time.
Up to 2,760 words and going strong. Surprisingly there have been some interesting events in my life.
I think one of the "secrets" of NaNo is why use one word when ten will do just as well?
