A Football sketch

Scouser Shane Looney was today cleared of a charge of violent conduct.

This refers to a match last week in which TV cameras caught him stabbing the opposition centre half, ripping open his stomach and spreading his entrails around the pitch.

When the incident was brought to the attention of the referee Looney hurled a stream of abuse at the official.

"I never saw a thing" said his manager, Alex McScotsman. "This is a victory for common sense. I've never agreed with TV evidence being used to condemn a player. To be fair to the lad he was provoked. The opponent called him an idiot so you can't blame him for reacting".

The referee was later charged with gross incompetence for having the audacity to ask Looney what he'd done.

Following the FA's decision this leaves Looney clear to play for England

Following on from the pot calling the kettle black I found this again.

As I said, there is a lot of them about.

Nostalgia often masquerades as fact.

Footballers piss me off. Get on with the game, for f**k's sake, and stop fouling and/or nancying around.

The satire worked, but it seems a bit odd how much football stuff there is like this around.

It wasn't so much satire as just a bitter attack!
