It saddens me to write this, but in the not-too-distant past, there have been some posts on this forum that were disparaging of dogs. As a dog-owner, who has previously had to deal with the tragic passings of a few beloved hounds, I feel I am owed an apology by all those who made caustic comments against canines. I hope the haters will be mature enough to acknowledge they were well out of order and apologize for offending me.
