Never heard of him. Not sure if that's because he's too famous (or at least commercial) or not famous enough. I see he's done Live at the Apollo, and Mock the Week etc....which I haven't watched in years and years. That might explain it.
Just checked out an Apollo clip, and I don't think he's really my thing. It was...probably too commercial, or predictable, or something. Not weird enough for me maybe?
I've seen a few clips and he was quite funny. Not enough that I'd see him though (incidentally, when did ten dates become a tour? surely at least thirty or forty, give you good coverage up and down the country, ten is almost lazy!)
I have to agree with the point about 10 gigs being a bit lazy. Surely he's not doing arenas or something. That's the only reason I can see for such a short tour at the moment.
