I've hit it a few times myself by mistake because I've taken it wrongly for an Enter button, it's in the natural place to enter something, just as it is on a keyboard and most other things on a computer laid out in the same left to right way. When you type fairly quickly and do things automatically, then it's easy to miss what it actually says.

I'm open to suggestions. Where to?

The far left where the edit button is.

Sounds sensible, though I still, don't see what the problem is. It clearly says "Delete" in white on red and not "Enter"

Bloody hell, I thought I was old and losing the plot!

Good! At least I'm not the only stupid one.

.

Not that one. The one that saves the result of the editing.

Strange I could've sworn it was green that time.

Anyway SOMETHING wiped out a long response I had typed as an add-on to a prior response. I didn't feel up to doing it all again.

Perhaps it was just a reflex action to click the right-hand button. Most of the other 'next-action' buttons are on the right-side.
Hey Ho...

You see? Easy to do isn't it.

What's gone wrong with the little arrow icon?

It's supposed to take you to the last post you saw but now it just seems to take you to the page.

It should still go to the exact post, but you might have to wait a moment for the page to finish loading before your browser scrolls down - depending on how your browser works.

I've never had any problems before tonight though and it's still doing it.

I've noticed it a few times in the last couple of weeks. It's temperamental. Sometimes it scrolls down immediately, sometimes it takes a few moments' wait. Not clear why.

I think it's OK now but yesterday was the first time I'd experienced it.

The Internet seemed VERY slow yesterday, so that's probably what happened.

I think I broke it. Sorry.

Some typographic weirdness going on when people quote posts.
If there's any 'special' type ie bold or italics etc it appears to format them slightly misaligned (dropped), or with an extra space before hand.
Hardly the end of the world, but it only started a day or two ago.

Can you point to an example?

Nothing's changed at our end, so it's most likely an update in your browser's rendering that's caused it; whether we need to do something to counter that is the question.
