Comedy Awards

I'm stumped by the quality of the comedy in 2016. I'm getting through the sitcom lists, and there's some brilliant stuff.

It's good to see Red Dwarf is back on their game after all these years. Mum was excellent. Motherland, Linehan's back! great. Another great season of Man Down.

Brooker's 2016 Wipe is the best in years. The current season of Not Going Out is excellent after a terrible previous season.

I'm up to watching Camping and I'm absolutely blown away.

I remember the 2015 comedy being weak. How did it turn around so much or is it my imagination?

What sitcoms in 2016 were robbed of making the short list? For me Cuckoo Season 2 was even better than the first.

Not Going Out didn't go out in 2016! And I'm pretty sure Cuckoo was Series 3, not 2.

It's all down to personal taste. 2016 wasn't better than 2015 for me.

Hmmm Interesting. I've missed series 3 and watched 2 of Cuckoo last year. It might have been the previous year of Not Going out I thought was dud. Nearly time to re-watch them all.
