To be fair, I think he said working comedian. He wouldn't have left out Tarby.
He did pay tribute to Doddy though. He used one of his lines about when he was in trouble with The Inland Revenue - Ken Dodd said 'I didn't think it counted as I live by the sea.

Ken Dodd - one of the greatest comedians that ever lived. Saw him live once, thank heavens and in a middle front row seat, when for a brief second he looked straight at me.
It was a night I'll never forget - when I rang my wife at 10.30 pm and she said "Do you want picking up now?", I said "No, this is the interval, and he's coming back on again". From memory he started at 8 and finished at midnight, with laughs every minute.
