Fermenting the Guinness

I guess that's supposed to be a man pitching yeast? I did the same thing much simpler a few hours ago: open the fermenter lid, dump in a slurry of yeast, close the fermenter lid. :)

I think it is meant to indicate that the fermenting of guinness is so vigourous that anti-explosion precautions have to be taken and only a tiny ball of yeast can be used.

Love the way the customers pressurise the guinnes keg by sitting on the bar stool.

This was my favorite scene. The people all looked a bit spooky -- like drudge drones from a horror film, enslaved to modern machinery. Even the concealed machinery neath the bar makes it look like something insidious is happening. This fleeing bunny gave me hope.
