Radio Sketch submissions

Does anyone know of any radio shows that currently accept sketch submissions from the public?

I don't know currently but you should check the bbc writers room they usually have stuff.

They usually have stuff like the bearded ladies and the something and pearson.

sorry I can't be of more help

There's Purple Comedy.

Bearded Ladies and Parsons and Naylor both stopped taking unsolicited sketches for their last series. They were the only remaining national sketch shows that took them, as far as I'm aware.

BBC Writers Room still happily suggests in its advice to sketch-writers to submit to those programmes that take unsolicited sketches, but there aren't any. They also suggest sending to the producers of shows you like, but getting their email addresses is virtually impossible and I suspect they wouldn't read such stuff anyway.

Watsons's Wind-up on BBC Scotland did take sketches and I assume it will have a new season this winter, but it mostly wants Scottish and topical.

Writers Room sometimes advertises when programmes are taking stuff. The Comedy Unit in Glasgow also takes unsolicited submissions for sketches for the various radio and tv shows it is involved with.

Hope this helps.
