I keep seeing DVDs being released of old British comedy films from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, that I had totally forgotten about, or can't remember even seeing. Does anyone know if there is a catalogue with these films in? Showing pictures from the film/actors/synopsis etc. Used to love it when ITV or Channel 4 put on an old black & white comedy. Wish there were more on YouTube. I used to think that most were Ealing comedies, but there are quite a few good ones that aren't.
Old Comedy Films
Talking Pictures TV show a lot of these films, as well as B&W thrillers, drama & crime, throughout the day on Sky 343, Freeview 81 or Freesat 308. Their associated website renownfilms.co.uk sell DVDs of the films they show.
networkonair.com is another good source of similar films and you can of course find most of them on Amazon, using their filters for genre and years of production.
Thanks. I'll take a look.

Well, there's always this very website!
We don't yet have Guides to everything, but I'm working on it, day by day and week by week. You could start by looking through the shop for releases then clicking through to see what other information we have: https://www.comedy.co.uk/shop/
You may also find our Films on TV page useful. As noted, Talking Pictures TV show a lot: https://www.comedy.co.uk/film/on_tv/
And then there's our full film database, which you can search by title and/or filter by year: https://www.comedy.co.uk/film/list/
