To be honest, they both left me cold, but a lot of George Michael's music has the Beatles effect of making you feel you want to dance with happiness (unusual for me). A loss to the gay community too.

First David Bowie, then Prince... now the news about George Michael has hit me right in the gut - WHAM!

Well I am no great fan, I can take GM or leave him; but he did do some great songs AND he was held in high esteem by his contemporaries who were singing his praises on the news this morning.
