Interesting but if he so resented his father why didn't he change his name?

People aren't names, Chaps.

I mean so that there was no connection with Henry Fonda.

R.I.P. Sheila Steafel

A naturally funny woman.

Aww, SUCH a funny lady, and have only recently finished reading her biog. "When Harry Met Sheila: The Autobiography of"

Here she is when Leonard Sachs gave his "niece" Popsy Wopsy a chance to make it on the stage......................

Yes. Sad news. She was so good!

Sheila Steafel's departure from this life at the age of 84 is indeed a sad loss.

She was a South African with a forename suggestive of Australia who lived her adult life in England where she was for many many years a very active and successful comedy performer.

South Africa? Australia? England? Comedy? Lived to 84?

Okay, I've got to say it: she had a good innings.

RIP Sheila.

RIP.

Here's another Popsy going full at it though.

Oh......................... :|

I expect she was inspired by the Sheila Steafel version.

Only just discovered that she was married to Harry H Corbett.

RIP
Valerie Harper.

Rhoda and Mary Tyler Moore Show.
Used to watch both but can't remember much about either.
