I'm putting together an identity parade of unsung heroes of British sitcom, these are people that have either inspired the show/characters like Rev. Joy Carroll the consultant for Vicar of Dibley or Ian Martin the swearing consultant for the Thick of It.
They could also be significant extras that popped up once but made a great impact for example Jed Maxwell, Alan Partridge's biggest fan or baby actors like Baby Jessica from Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em or Damien Trotter from OFAH. I'm also thinking about foreign character versions like Bernd Stromberg aka the German David Brent.
Has anybody got any suggestions on this, people they would like to see, think I wonder who/what person and where are they now kind of thing?
