RIP Norman Hudis
A good age and gave me a few laughs - so RIP Norman.
RIP too. He left behind a huge comic legacy.
I'm embarrassed to say I'd never heard of him before but knowing who he is a great talent.
RIP.
I've never heard of him either but 93 is a good innings as they say, and anyone who wrote any of the Carry On films bar the rubbish ones like Columbus/Emmannuelle were very talented.
They were never really "the stars" like writers are nowadays. Largely unknown although I subsequently became aware of Talbot Rothwell.
I only knew of Talbot Rothwell because he was a very good friend of Peter Butterworth.
