Need some advice on a sketch

Hello

I've just written a sketch that has two parts to it. The first part is set in a car and the second part is a view of the car going down the road with the characters talking, but in an O.O.V format. Both parts are done in real time. It just switches from the internal to the external view.

At the minute I have the script as Scene 1 and Scene 2. Do I need it set out like this or can I just have "cut to:" at the end of the first part?

For a sketch I don't think you need to lose sleep on it but if it was me and it's a sketch, I'd cut to: with a minor explanatory note.

But if it was in a longer piece, I'd scene change as the location has moved from interior to exterior.

Is the POV change crucial to the gag?

Thanks, Slag!

Yes, I believe it is crucial. The new view gives it more impact.

That is a good point from the Slagster there though. At this stage anyway try to keep things as simple as.
