very sad, not least of all because of how modest the funeral will be.
It's a Godawful small affair.
Such a shock as he kept his illness a secret. One of the greatest ever.

Really sad to hear of his passing, one of the greatest artists ever.
RIP Duke.
One of the few, true innovator of pop.
In his most recent video (Lazaruth) he shrouds his face and placed buttons on his eyes, Valhalla style. Looks like a hospital bed, and he sings about heaven and being free. In the Bible "Lazaruth" was restored back to life.
Does look like his nod towards impending death. That and the fact there's only 7 tracks on his new album.
That video is quite powerful, even a bit disturbing, and you can see his creative side never waned and his voice as strong as ever too.
So many memories that listening to the radio today is too painful and I can't watch the latest:
Legend.
Can't believe it. Very young.
RIP.

A true Innovator. Inspirational and a major influencer.
