I love the Hancock TV show. Still not sure about getting the audio discs though. Will they work with my foreign ears?

Yes!! Absolutely. DO IT.

Yes.

Much better on the radio! :)

Thanks guys! I think I put them on my wishlist then.

Yea the radio shows are far superior to the TV shows imo

By far a much larger selection than the TV shows. I listen to my tapes (I have about 60 HHH) on a regular basis and never tire of them, but you might not get some of the 1950s references.

My all time favourite, and the one that always used to come out top in the Tony Hancock Appreciation Society poll is "Sunday Afternoon at Home" - love it, love it, love it. It so encapsulates life at that time - the observations are spot on.

That was on 4 extra last week

Stone me, what a life....

Now here's the but.

Perfection does not exist on Earth. Apart from Melanie C's shoulder-blades.

Only Fools and Horses for me.

The Holy Trinity

Steptoe and Son
Dad's Army
The Royle Family

Rising Damp and One Foot In The Grave to make up the top five.
