Josh - Series 1 Page 4

I watched the whole series which in itself is a positive.

The scripts felt very 'flabby' and need tightening up although the comments above suggest it was all a bit rushed. I always find James Ellis watchable/listenable with the others a bit 'meh'. It also felt a bit too BBC, middle class, write about what we know - for instance the flat was nicer than most I've rented, work never seemed to get in the way, money was only an issue for trips to the pub. All a bit media bubble.

Hopefully the second series will improve the writing, be tighter and be less predictable. Most of the jokes were telegraphed a mile out and even if they were funny you were waiting for them to appear. It was though fairly amiable and kept me watching by generally just being undemanding.

Series 3 of josh is panning out to be worse than the 1st two.
