It is my sad duty this evening to inform you all that our very own Oldrocker, Dave Leeson, passed on to the great sitcom archive in the sky on Monday night.
RIP Dave. There'll never be another.

oh dear. I only knew him through this forum, but he seemed like a thoroughly solid fellow. He'll be sadly missed.
Sad news and quite a shock, though I'd noticed he didn't seem to be posting as much as he used to.

Doesn't seem all that long ago that he retired from his job, so it's sad that he didn't have longer to enjoy his time off. RIP Dave.

Such sad news! I was just wondering about him earlier in the day.
I'm glad that I had a chance to meet him last year. He was a fine man. I'm raising my glass to him at this very moment. Rest in peace, Dave.

I know he was there in March of 2014 (Founders Arms?) because that's where my son and I had the pleasure of meeting him. He was a nice man and I had enjoyable conversations with him during the evening. RIP, Oldrocker!
