Is Hercules Grytpype Thynne Aristocratic?

Mr TBN was watching 'All Change At Longleat' on iPlayer last night: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06cxkzv and it got me wondering. Amongst our BCG regular posters we have a Mr Grytpype Thynne who, although on this site via a nom de plume, is clearly a relative of the Marquess of Bath, whose family name was originally spelt Thynne, but the errant 'e' was dropped a while back. So, what concrete evidence led me to this conclusion?

* HGT lives in a 'country seat' - could it be located near the Queen's winter residence?

* It's well known in the East Anglian region that HGT regularly exhibits (his artwork/himself) in the centre of Norwich every second Thursday at 14:01 precisely.

* The population of grouse in the postcode NR4 has declined 200% since HGT moved to the area in 1965.

So, what do others think?

No he isn't. They only call him "Lord Wind-Sore" because of his chronic flatulence!

I think he might be The Queen.

I thought that he'd had a catalytic converter attached to his abdomen to try to lessen the effects? It's strange, all of the time we've been blaming cows' flatulence and who knows - it could have been HGT all of the time?

I reckon that he'd look great in a headscarf and welly boot combo!

SPIT!!! *looks for nearest bomb/machine gun*

Uh oh.

I think Herc is largely misunderstood - in France (soz)

I also think Herc is 54 years old?

I've always thought of Herc sitting in a leather wing chair next to a roaring fire. A little like Roald Dahl introducing the early episodes of 'Tales Of The Unexpected' if you will?

You are flattering him. Give it another 20 years or so.

16 in fact.

Why hasn't he commented yet? lol. Good old Hercules :)

I'd forgotten about Elton's middle name. I only discovered the other day that the 'John' element was a tribute to the late Long John Baldry.

Talking of such, I reckon long Johns are essential apparel for those draughty nights spent in the north wing.
