Altough mostly action, there is a fair amount of comedy in the Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes films, so I found it fit to put in this forum. Anyway has anybody seen any of them. I have all 14 Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes films and they are brilliant. Does anybody else like them?
Yes, I've seen them and although I don't think they constitute as comedy - though Nigel Bruce as Watson is comic relief - I thought they were great.
Brilliant, what's your favourite one. I'm going to have to go for "The Woman in Green", the last one to feature Professor Moriarty. Nigel Bruce was brilliant as Watson and out of all the actors playing Sherlock Holmes, Basil Rathbone is the best by far.
