I really don't get on with doctors.

Sorry - but they all have sex on medical premises paid for by the taxpayer.

That's not only unhygienic. It's a two fingers up at the democratic process.

...doctors...two fingers up...

Approaching 40 I don't like the sound of that, I really don't.

You've got about five more years of innocence.

Then you will find that your entire worldview is no longer yours but your GP's for you and that they are not so much sadists - all of them - as completely round the twist.

Don't worry, I think it's only one finger for a prostate exam.

What about Nurses? Are you ok with them having sex on the premises or does it depend who with?

Don't I know it. >_<

What's Red, Raw and Has Pus Coming Out of It?

There's another idea for a game, 'guess the body part.' Not sure if we should insist it is still attached.
Here's another idea, a Generation Game style competition where we split up into teams and have to perform an operation within a certain timescale. Perhaps Tim would do the initial demo and be the judge.

Flappy skin collar that Jewish people have removed. >_<

Not so bothered.

They get paid very little.

The amount GPs get paid they should sign a contract agreeing to lifelong celibacy.

They're not all bad, the amount of hours some of them have to work perhaps the workplace is the only chance they get to have sex. I wonder how many people have at least thought about having sex in their workplace.

In other news, I just had a junk email offering me a monthly installment funeral plan. That's cheered me up.

I just feel that people should take a leaf out of the book of the deceased.

They don't go on all the time about their illnesses.

Loopey made me do it............. Whistling nnocently

I know you are all eagerly awaiting a health update from me, so here it is.......... :D

Just been to see the Doctor and it is not a problem with my hip - HIP HIP HOORAY!; as I didn't see how I could look after my wife if I had to go through all that with a hip replacement.

So, it is sciatica and have now got to have my spine x-rayed and in the meantime he has given me some stronger pain killers that target nerve problems.

You can all stop worrying now. Angelic

That's a great relief indeed but sciatica is pretty awful! Hope the pain killers are effective and you will be able to look after your wife in the way that you want to. Hopefully the spine x-ray will bring positive news too.

I'm off to Addenbrookes for the first time tomorrow and slightly concerned about the negative news reports about it over the last few days.

Thank you, and try and be positive Loopey. :) Newspapers love to blow things out of proportion as you know.

Thank you. I met two of the nicest docs I could ever wish for. I was treated very well. Phew! :)

I was admitted to hospital via A&E recently and the only bed they had available was on the geriatric ward.
I met some incredible ladies, heard and saw some funny, sad and incredible things and came home feeling very lucky - I know some of my fellow inmates won't be going home. :(

I also came home with a virus, that's hospitals for you!
