Just heard a bit on 4Xtra that John Mann did before 2000, it must've been as he mentions the millennium and how he's looking forward to when Blue Peter open the time capsule they buried in 1975. it will be a dead tortoise with fred written on the top. That's the exact thing I'm always seeking from humour - the surreal bits gleaned here and there. I was once listening to a podcast where they mentioned the urban myth that the first Schnorbitz (qv) had allegedly exploded during a visit to a primary school.
I can still remember the Blue Peter tortoises.
