Nincompoop The Clown - Video Links

Hello there!

I am a clown and perform in the US. I also create clown videos and wanted to share.

Nincompoop The Clown Finds a Friend - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpO8bnbj5YU

Nincompoop Finds a Banana - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuXVnlwYjJg

Nincompoop Finds Cookies and Milk - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=de3vqJqOFXM

This was just horrible, poorly paced unfunny, unskilled.

Like watching sadness in slow motion.

Maybe tighten it up a lot half the running time.

But you're not a good clown, if such a thing exists.

I liked this one:

Got to be Mr Jelly.............

Suggestions for future episodes I'd definitely watch:

Nincompoop Crashes A Porn Shoot

Nincompoop Finds A Container Full Of Plutonium

I thought the three little films were quite nice, actually.

I watched each one from start to finish.

That's very rare for me as most of the films linked here over the years have lost my interest at a very early stage indeed, mainly due to their being almost entirely unfunny and very clearly made by someone with a hugely over-inflated opinion of his own abilities in the field of comedy-film-making.

Nincompoop's films, however, are refreshingly charming little pieces that could win him a cult following.

Well done!

That's a little too mean without being critical.

I'm afraid you're a Swiss Miss.

Stumbled over this thread when it was in the General Comedy section so I thought I could crap the Clips without giving Knuth a fair review.

But ok, the character reminds me a bit of Charly Chaplin's tramp but without Chaplin's timing and charm. That's why it doesn't work for me.

EDIT: I'm still thinking my first suggestion would be a funny situation for Nincompoop.

EDIT II:

Better than being a Brit Tit. :P

without Chaplin's timing and charm.

To be fair, that might describe almost every comedy actor in the history of world cinema and TV.

Yes, but most of them don't even try to be like him. And I think the character Nincompoop is directly inspired by the tramp. And he doesn't add anything original to it. That's why it doesn't work for me.
If he'd be a more vindictive character, not as nice and naive, I wouldn't compare him to the tramp. (Ok, then I'd most probably compare him to Mr. Bean)

Now this is what clown comedy is all about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERQRGq8oOEA

Was that your skit Alex?

It's very good, not the most original idea but very nicely done.

I especially liked the silly, little car line.

I watched the first one and quite liked it - though it was a bit jarring the way it cut to the dog and back

I get what Gordon is saying about him being too nice but I would have used the word meek

In general I liked it though
