All five of us have the same mic so it gives us a bit of compatabilty when trying to match bits of remote audio together. Also we all use 'Audacity' the audio software which is a free download..

Are you really up for some remote audio work? ...as I have my infamous Frankie and Sarah stuff ... at the mo Sarah has never been heard (she is at the other end of a mobile) and you only ever hear Frankie ... maybe I'll mail 'em to ya!! You could develop the Sarah character if you wanted??? It's at the very early stages, there are only two done so far..

Going back to the sketch and to resolve the Pratchett issue,
Great sketch just a bit of tweaking.
I would distance the death character from Pratchett's version who is very 'shug shoulders' "it just says hamster" awkward pause.
I'd make him far more traditional death..
'silence mortal!!! My dominion acknowledges no reprieve.' (very off top of head as you tell).
This would do a number of things:
a) Make the idea of a death for hamsters more silly.
b) make the kid look even more unshockable and therefore 'grown up'.
c)make the reveal of the dad more of a shock as he has just tried to frighten the crap out of his son.
what do you think?
