Dear BCG Users,
The Editor -and his unfinished kindness- allowed me to advertise a research project on the forum.
Such research has been approved by City University London Senate Research Ethics Committee, too.
My name is Antonio and I am a City University London masters student, who made a huge mistake on the day of the project's topics allocation: I arrived too late. So, In addition to the expensive fees, this costed me to undertake the research project that dealt with the most sensitive topic: sexual behaviour, which - you would not believe - is not only related to the act of boom-booming/humping/fiki-fiki or however you rather call such activity.
I'll spare you the comments about how easy that topic would be for an Italian stallion I had to put up with (writer's note: I am 5'6 short, more a pony than a stallion).
Anyway, research in this field has demonstrated that sexual behaviour helps doctors, social scientists and other smart and brilliant people to gather fruitful insights on important health and lifestyle subjects: from diseases to unexpected pregnancies, passing through relationship issues.
However, as you can imagine, given the sensibility of the topic, it is not always easy to obtain truthful information about such behaviours.
So, your average foreign masters student is here to advertise a research, that aims -or tries to aim- at making people feel more comfortable in giving truthful answers in online surveys on sexual behaviour.
I would not be surprised if things are still not clear to you(often, they aren't clear to me either). I am sure you are asking yourself: " why this dude decided to harass our community with his babbling about 'horizontal refreshment'?".
Well, in order to produce significant results, I need a massive number of participants in a relatively short period of time. Therefore, I have been advertising this research literally everywhere: from Facebook, to Twitter, to dating websites and several other communities (I have also asked my nan if she could get in touch with the son of the daughter of her cousin, who lives in Torquay).
What are you supposed to do? Well, should you be interested in being part of this research, you would have to go to the following link and take part in this amazing survey on sexual behaviour:
I would stress that participation is voluntary, and you can choose not to participate in part or the entire project. You can withdraw at any stage of the study without being penalised or disadvantaged in any way. It is up to you to decide whether or not to take part. If you do decide to take part you will be asked to agree a consent form. If you decide to take part you are still free to withdraw at any time and without giving any reason.
Although the survey is open to everyone who's older than 18 years old; the target population is young adults aged 18-34, who reside in the UK. The reason of this choice is that us youngsters are considered at higher risk of sexual issues.
Should you think the study can be worth your time and interest, I would be very grateful if you could also share it with your friends, acquaintances etc.
To do so, you can have a look at the Facebook page and the Twitter profile:

If you need more information about the study, you can contact me either here or send an email to raresurvey@gmail.com.
Thank you so much in advance for your precious time.
Best Wishes,
Antonio
