Purple Comedy goes Live

Hi Folks,

Just to let you know that you'll be able to listen to a live version of purple Comedy next week. Probably be on on Tuesday at 8.00pm. I'll send you a lnk when I have it.
the show will be chat, pre-recorded sketches form the podcast and music. it'll have a Highland slant so you might not understand it all but it should be fun. oh and there will be a live chat room so you can join in.

All good fun eh.

John

Meanwhile our next podcast show will be up this weekend.

Thanks for the info, John. :)

Hey Guys,

i was right we weren't slick. We got all of 7 listeners! I suppose you have to start somewhere. not quite the media frenzy we were hoping for.

Ah wel, there's always next week.

Did anyone have problems loging on?

John

And you have 3 actors and 4 writers Whistling nnocently

I think it's great that you're trying this and good luck to you, but the beauty of the podcast is you can listen to it any time you want.

Yeah, it's as Leevil says John - the trouble with a live broadcast is the audience also have to be there 'live'. I've been listening to all your shows but wasn't able to catch the live one for that very reason.

Hi,

I understand what you mean. The difference with a live show is we can talk to our audience and they can talk to us. The live shows will be archived so you can listen to them later.

If you can make into the chat room that would be nice.

Thanks very much to Leevil for putting links to us on his website, very grateful.

Hope that helps.

John

Hi,

just to let you know, boast really, we got 2000 listeners this week. That's our best ever.

Thanks to everyone for their support.

Yours

John

My link worked then? ;)

Well done, congrats as well :D

Hi Folks,

Yep that's it must have been your link. I shold have said that the new live show is in addition to and not instead of the podcast.

So you can.
Listen to the podcast show as usual.
Catch the live show, Tuesdays at 8.00
or catch the recorded version of the live show anytime you like on Ness Mp3.

Live is much more difficult than I thought. I was inspired by Ross Noble on Australia's Triple J. He makes it sound so easy, the guy's such a great act. I'm going to see his live cinema show, should be fun.

Any other Ross Noble fans out there?

John
