How Not To Live Your Life - Series 1 Page 14

I think the girl is a terrible actress. She was terrible in Hollyoaks and is terrible in this.

"Donnnnn, there are some certain words you cannot say in front of children." Grrrr

Just watching 2nd episode now. Loving the scavenger hunt stuff with the rival boyfriend. Ho-Bot hahaha

Must say, rather enjoyed episode 2 of this. Getting into the vibe of the piece. Dan Clark turning out to be surprisingly likeable as an unlikeable character.

I didn't enjoy tonights as much as last weeks. Saying that, the reveal after the wake and "throon"ing were lol moments for me.

I only caught the last 10 minutes, but yes, those were funny bits. I'll watch the whole episode tonight no doubt.

Never seen it, but now I want to. Though genuinly thought after seeing the adverts it was worth a look.

I thought the plot was a good idea and enjoyed the first 2/3rds, but after that it kind of fizzled out for me.

I just watched it on iPlayer and really enjoyed. There were some great lines such as...

"Remove your hands from my thighs or I'll remove them from your arms." And...

"Do you want to throon? It's spooning but with three peoeple. I call it throoning."

But I've got to say there was no need for the old lady peeing, that's as bad as the character in Little Britain.

A reasonable episode. Not excellent, but it didn't repulse me.

I enjoyed this episode and I'm definitely warming to this sitcom. I think David Armand is a great actor and should star in more stuff. He plays the carer Eddie by the way.

This just keeps getting better and better. Fast becoming my favourite thing on the telly.

'She smells dead' (thumbs up) Laughing out loud

I really liked it too!
I think he and Eddie are a really interesting duo. And I love the way it seems to be shot in a real house... Is that possible?

Ooh, and he did a 'shush your mouth'. That's a Julian Barratism that is. Must have caught it off him when he did the Boosh.

I agree, he's great! To be fair, I can't think of an actor who has appeared in more things this year than David Armand*, so it's not like he's desperate for work... but it is about time he got the lead role in something.

(* This month alone he's been in this show, Sorry, I've Got No Head, Tonightly, the Armstrong and Miller repeats, something else I can't remember off the top of my head, and lent his voice to one of the E4 comedy pilots!)

True Fact: Even though hardly anyone knows his name, Armand's actually one of the most watched British comedians on YouTube - the various versions of his mime act of Natalie Imbruglia's Torn have been watched over 6m times now.

In an interview Dan Clark said they built a whole set. It's bloody huge if you ask me.

I've watched only the first ep so far.

To add another obscure comparison to our list: To me it looked like a weird attempt at fusioning Nathan Barley and Black Books.

And although I liked many of the ideas, a lot of the supposedly funny bits ended before actually becoming funny (for example there were a lot of pretty old and obvious jokes in it, that could have been funny if they had been taken further or somewhere unexpected).

I'll still watch the second episode, as many of you seem to have enjoyed it.
