Sitcom Memory Fade

Can anyone help plug a few gaps in my sitcom memory?

The first had Darren Boyd and Amanda Holden in an office sitcom.

The second had Alexander Armstrong in a vet sitcom.

The third had that actor bloke, y'know, he does acting. It was based in his flat and involved many hilarious misunderstandings, with his girlfriend and others. He may have later been in Cold Feet. (Much later)..... I've just looked up Cold Feet and, he is Robert Bathurst.

In all 3 cases, it was the first time I had seen them on telly.

Beast is the vet one. Loved that!

Was the office one Kiss Me Kate?

Beast and Kiss Me Kate. Yep, thanks for that. That just leaves the flat based one with that actor bloke, y'know, he does acting.... (Robert Bathurst)

It sounds like Joking Apart, written by Steven Moffat. Very good series.

Looking it up on this here internet, it does seem to be the one I was thinking of, thanks for all the answers. All 3 are examples of great sitcoms that end before their time, leaving you wondering why this should be. They all had mileage left in them.

Kiss Me Kate was really good, but sadly one of the "stars" (I hate that word) of the show (hate that one too) make recordings very difficult to watch.
