Comedy "The Spirit of Killing"

*CASTING CALL*

Calling all London Based Comedians/ Comedy actors. (Male only)

Hi, we are currently casting for our new one act comedy play "The Spirit of Killing".

"Bryan Ryan, an eighties-styled slasher, lives at home with his mum. He's down in the dumps, dissatisfied with his lot. In short, he's lost the spirit of killing. But when he throws a Halloween party for his oddball serial killing buddies in an attempt to cheer himself up, things go from bad to worse."

We are casting for three roles:

BRYAN RYAN
Male, aged 18-50, Geordie/Northern Accent required.

Bryan is a slasher in the mould of a Michael Myers/ Jason Voorhees. He wears a creepy white mask and a boiler suit. Bryan is kind, thoughtful and surprisingly a people person given the fact he is a remorseless killer. A typical Geordie, he loves nothing more than settling in front of the T.V with a bottle of broon and watching the new series of Masterchef.

MAN HOG
Male, aged 18-50, Tall/ large.

Man hog is a inbred hillbilly who wears a human skin mask and dungarees. A lumbering oaf who communicates mainly in grunts and growls. He is a retarded cannibalistic mutant who roams the countryside and has a particularly strong dislike of campers. He acts somewhere in between a toddler and the family dog.

SAUCY JACK
Male, aged 18-60, Cockney/London accent required.

Saucy Jack is a Killer ventriloquists doll. He is a cockney from the old East end of London and is over 100 years old. He is a Scally wag, a ladies' man, a bigot and a Psychopath. He also drives a taxi.

These roles would be perfect for comedians/ comedy actors/ physical comedians, etc.

If successful, applicants would need to be free for rehearsals the week starting 25th May - 29th. With the shows on 29th/30th May.

Position is PAID, exact amount (tbc).
