Norman -Shrub of doom

The second piece of old stuff. Coming soon - New Jose and Gwen Holiday sketches.

NORMAN - SHRUB OF DOOM.

VO: The village of Applepenny appears to be just another sleepy community in the middle of the Devonshire countryside. Little do many people realise that this village has been under attack for the last 6 months from a vicious monster. That monster's name is Norman though the locals have named him......

Shot of a bush

VO: THE ALMIGHTY SHRUB OF DOOM!!!!!!

Shot of an old man

Old man: It's not just any old bush. Norman is an evil killing machine. He has no compassion for any living creature. He just craves flesh!

Shot of a mother with baby

Mother: How could the police have let his reign of terror go on so long? There are children in this village. This shrub has no sense of morality. All he wants is blood.

Shot of a farmer

Farmer: He took 17 of my sheep, 3 cow, and my dog! It also had 12 children, 5 tourists, and the local vicar!!! I say to the woodchipper with him! No one has ever taken him on and lived to tell the tale.

Shot of a police man.

Policeman: Norman is highly dangerous and out of control. It was only a matter of time before we tracked him down. His reign of terror may be over, but it will be years before this village recovers.

VO: Are you sure these crimes have been commited by a bush?

Police: Not just any bush. A very sick bush indeed. I've seen the way it looks at people. It's pure evil

VO: So you believe Norman is guilty and the fact that you have a zoo 5 miles down the road with 3 missing tigers is a coincidence?

Policeman: Are you saying that norman killed 3 tigers? What a sick bastard!!

Shrubs are evil!

Stands to reason.

How true...........how very true.

Me and Martin once wrote a series of comics about a group of hero's called the O-men (Ordinary men featuring Milkman, Very Small Girl, Tall Man, Air Freshener Boy) and one of there arch enemies was 'The Shrub' part man\part topiary.

This sketch always reminds me of that.

Very good.

Is it your bush Ruby?

No bush, only a single flower.
