Wave Wave Wave

Labour leader election. >_< :S Laughing out loud Someone wants to make a film about it called Meltdown. Harman said she wanted a soul searching debate about who they are, what they've got instead is another big punch up between the lefties and the Blairesque poshos they hate.

The Labour Party have been a total mess since 1975, infighting all the time between the left and the right. They should've split into 2 separate parties when Owen created the SDP, they should've all gone with it to leave the Labour party a left wing socialist party and Blair would've led an SDP government. Now they are still fighting each other like mad and the public are walking further away and the nasty Tories are laughing their smug heads off. What an utter mess.

It's getting ridiculous but very entertaining if you like this sort of thing. The Tories are loving it and filling no.10's cellars with the most expensive wine they can buy, they know they're gonna be drinking it for another ten years. Another conniving Tory masterstroke they would've paid millions for to Saatchi. But would you trust a party so naïve as to fall for yet another Tory ploy? I wouldn't.

The party is still way too broad, it's about three parties in one still, it's got everyone from far left to far right in it, straight talking old labour lefties inspiring the forgotten core of Labour supporters - Corbyn, responsible but deadly dull mps incapable of inspiring anyone - Cooper, mps who look like they are in the wrong party - Kendal and my favourite of this campaign by far, the squirming weasely opportunist who will change everything they've ever said or stood for to fit in with the current wave of voter popularity for the other guy - Burnham. The looks Cooper's been giving him all campaign sums up how desparate this one is for power. And he's not going to get it.

The party might be naïve but the Labour voters aren't, now the media are trying to paint Corbyn as a terrorists' accomplice and dismantle him. Bernie Grant remorphed into a new body is actually going to become the leader of the opposition! I think that should put a lot of fun back into politics. :) even Laughing out loud

It goes in cycles

The Labour Party is a f**king shambles right now

But I recall people saying the Tory party was dead and buried in the late 90's under IDS and Michael Howard and Willyaam Haaaauuge.

Now look at the cocky f**kers
