The Times is a rip-off anyway, there are, like, no celebrities in it and their coverage of reality TV is, like, rubbish.
;)

I know what you mean, know what I mean?

Both Chrissy pressies.

I got the first as Christmas pressie too. Very nice. :) And Hangover Square.

I am reading Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad and Howl And Other Poems by Allen Ginsberg. One is for university and the other is just for kicks. Pleased

It is a very nice read, as was the first part. I'm not sure about getting the inevitable third part though; I'm not sure if I'll be as interested in reading about ten years of making travel documentaries.

Love Joe Matt's stuff:

I'm reading a book about Howl too! (for uni).
Do you have the version printed on the original roll of paper? It is fun.

I hated that book so much. Had to read it for uni too. I also hate the Apocolypse Now.

I have just had the pleasure of reading Susna Hill's The Beacon.

I feel after the discussion which followed that I should point out that I am also re-reading The Buddha of Suburbia for revision. Laughing out loud

It's not the most gripping read so far. Interesting, if nothing else.

I just have the version of Howl in my book, I do not know if it is the original or whatever! I am confused, are we talking about Howl or On The Road which I have read the original scroll of? :$

Heh, Howl is also on a big bit of paper, they liked their big bits of paper that lot.

In my book it appears as his original typed copy looked. Quite hard to read font. And lovely old creased paper.
