The one when everyone dies except two characters.

Thanks for that Curt. >_<

Woops! My bad. errr....Spoiler Alert? Whistling nnocently Sorry I thought all the comic book readers on the site would have read those two books by now.

Did you actually like the second book Scooty? The one when everyone dies except two characters. I really didn't like it. It seemed rushed, like Moore just didn't like the comic anymore and did it out of spite for those who did.

You accused Moore of rushing his work? I'd apologise to him ASAP he has magical powers and is probably right now making an effigy of you out of butter and getting the pan nice and hot.

The Audacity Of Hype by Armando Iannucci. A collection of his columns and general witterings. Hilarious. :D

I was reading a book by the US President slating a famous 40s comic for using writers for his stand up.

The Audacity of Bob Hope.

That's what made me decide to call my future daughter Estella.

I remember reading Great Expectations for GCSE English. I quite enjoyed it. The book and the GCSE.

It's verrrry slow at the moment.

It's Dickens, it won't get much faster!

I did it for my GCSE too.
Didn't actually read the whole book though. It cemented my hate for Dickens novels. Had to read the Cliffs Notes instead.

Am I the only one who read it of my own accord, for pleasure? Teary

It's a fantastic book, but so sad. Poor, poor Joe.

I prefer David Copperfield (not the magician or Three of a Kind bloke).

Shhh! I don't know the end, somehow!

The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera

Though I'm too pissed to be reading it right now.
