Unimpressed

Aaron does not approve of graffiti. The French (well, Parisians) got it right.

Have to admit I didn't like their stuff.

I like good graffiti, done by people with artistic talent.
But people who scrawl artless crap all over walls are wankstains of the highest order.

But only in designated, special places. Not all over the flipping shop.

Yeah I guess.

Wouldn't want it on my house!

I liked two issues back when they had Trevor Brown and Kate Westerholt and a really good piece on the British horror movie industry and New york music in the 80s. That was their best one.

Prezunctly.

Don't suppose anyone watched Greatest Cities of the World with Griff Rhys Jones last night? The Parisian frogs have a dedicated anti-graffiti 'force' with super high-pressure hoses to blast graffiti away as soon as it appears. That's the way to do it.

I don't know who he is, so am just getting mental images of Trevor Phillips.

And because probably no one except myself and sooty know who HE is:

I'm getting Trevor McDonald.

Oh, I'd forgotten about him.

Still getting Phillips though.

I know it's time to start crimbo shopping when I get the Lush xmas catalogue.

I shall be getting a few of these bath bombs

They look like some kind of sculpted poop.

Laughing out loud

Trust me, they don't smell it.

:O They look like they're amazing!

While I was away on holiday I read Celia Ahearn's (sp) P.S I love you. Was very good, much better than the film. Not one for the guys though.

I also read Danny Williams - Yes Man. Which I loved and has been made into a Jim Carey film, release next month I believe. It really made me think about how I was living my life... which is pretty powerful for a book.

And Tony Parsons - Stories we Could Tell. Which was well written, however I found it hard to relate to a 20 year old boy in the 1970s.

I'm on about the 4th book in Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. They've all been fab so far so I've ordered all the rest off Abebooks.

I'm waiting to see if Sam Raimi cocks up the TV version, Legend of the Seeker.
