Not read a good book (or any book) in a long while now. I need one. Any recommendations welcome.
The last I read was written by a pathologist about what happens when you die.
She described in detail the weird post mortems she had done and described the dying process.
It creeped me out and I didn't finish it.
Just started Russell Kane's "Son of a Silverback" - couple of chapters in and it is very funny
This is completely bonkers.
And funny.
And brilliantly written
Buckle up, because it's quite a ride.
EDIT: And at over 400 pages, if you snag a 2nd-hand copy - bloody good value!

And in reality is faintly amusing at best
I am fan of Agatha Christie and all of her books
Every new I read is better than the last one
Also I like to play some quizes base on these books, sometimes I use some help https://word-finder.com/words-that-start-with/zak/ but it even helps me to know more about my favourite books
And also I have a small tradition about reading, so two moths before Christmas every year I red Harry Potter, and these books will never be boring for me

A few years ago, I shook up a minor TV personality's life when he matched my DNA and discovered that his father wasn't his biological father, thus undoing years of genealogical research and an earlier book about his ancestor who was killed as a witch. He wrote a book about it and now he's written a sequel where he finally names his father, with whom I share a surname and a common ancestor.

Interesting stuff DaButt. I notice that in the USA you can look at the census for 1950 as you have a 72-year restriction, whereas in the UK it's 100 years.
I found I had a 2nd cousin I knew nothing about and a whole family branch that I knew but didn't know we were related.
I read the 1911 census that my great-grandfather had filled in and was shocked to see his signature was exactly like mine. (who knew genes contribute to signatures)
