I love that book! Read it in Australia! Was amazing.
What are you reading right now? Page 23
Quote: WrongTale @ July 11 2008, 6:58 AM BSTJust finished this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chinese_Nail_Murders
You just finished reading wikipedia?
Haha!
Yeah, what were you doing? I finished it weeks back.
Melfi was supposed to be 35?
Hah!
I bloody love the Sopranos. But I STILL haven't seen the last few episodes of the final series and don't know what happens, so I can't talk about it for fear of spoilage. So, tara!
Granted it's written by a genius.
It's the whole show in one page.
My copy hasn't come through yet.
So I am currently about to start Odd Hours.

Tony has a dream where he see's a Unicorn, and realises he was a replicant all along.
Just saw it's got Pine Barrons in it, that one must be a heck of an education.
Probably one of the greatest bits of drama ever.
He's an interior decorator, he killed 12 Czeklovakians.
I'm re-reading Making History by Stephen Fry. I can't remember much about it from last time, other than I really enjoyed it!
Nothing beats his The Hippopotamus though...
Quote: Griff @ August 2 2008, 4:24 PM BSTI love Stephen Fry's novels. The Liar is my favourite.
I liked that one too.

Didn't like that one at all. Hated all the 'spear her' type remarks, was not very classy stuff from Mr Fry.
He is so talented. However, I remember being a bit disappointed with The Stars' Tennis Balls, as a follow up to MH. I might have to re-read that one next to give it another chance.
The Liar is my favourite too.
Scats would love that one.

I don't remember that at all!
It really makes me laugh. It did shock me quite a bit when I first read it though.
I've read most of his novels, but I do get a lot of them mixed up.
Except Making History, that is sufficiently different for me to remember it!

Was definitely that one. That's why I stopped reading it.

He fancied that boy in The Liar who played the piano. I reckon it was meant to be Hugh Laurie!
YES!
I thought that, a bit.
There are a lot of History Boys-esque bits in that. Well, a few.

I wasn't doubting you; I just don't remember it - I'll have to read that one again too!
