I really want to read that, but I also really don't. I know it will be so depressing!

It's uplifting too, but yeaaaah. It's very clever as well, intertextually in particular, which also makes it worth it.

I shall work up to it someday.

Just started reading Ragtime by E L Doctorow. Don't read all that much historical fiction so am trying some out.

About to start 'A Possible Life' - Sebastian Faulks.

Donnie Brasco - Joseph Pistones autobiography

I can't seem to finish books these days.

I read them whilst eating my dinner at work

I can't just sit around at home reading

I get bored and distracted

Washington Square - Henry James.

I generally read when commuting, usually to block out the fact that I am inappropriately wedged against some stranger.

The King's Deception - Steve Berry

2/3 though and I still don't have a clue what's going on.

A Poke In The Eye With A Big Stick- which is about The Secret Policemans Balls held by Amnesty.

A book about British Language published by loney Planet. I think it was written with Americans in Mind.

'Peaches for Monsieur le Cure' - Joanne Harris.
