Hello DuckAvenger is it a good read and welcome to the site!

Thank you. Well I haven't been able to read it that much yet but so far it's been pretty interesting. New info about Houdini and introductions to other that era's magicians.

My to be read pile is 22 high. Not literally high, they are more in a shelf formation.
But might be a good idea to actually read them instead of keep buying more.

You should definitely read the ones you have before you buy more. I just got rid of loads of mine without reading them :( Now hoping they will be released as audio books.

Tried getting my sister to read to me but she couldn't cope with the sex in Marc's books

:O :P

You should try this audiobook. It's brilliant:

Laughing out loud

I've just started 'Various Pets Alive & Dead' - Marina Lewycka. Think it will be entertaining.

I liked her Tractors in Ukrainian book.

I've never read that. Did read the one about people being glue - can't remember the correct title. Anyway, thoroughly enjoyed the 'Animals' one. Only criticism - too many loose ends were tied ups.
Now about to start 'The Girl Who Played with Fire'.

Double Cross

The story of Sam 'mooney' Giancana

Best mafia book I've ever read

Did he do a lot of mooning?

Yes

If they didn't pay up the protection money he showed them his orrible spotty arse cheeks

They soon fell in line after that

Ruthless bastard

Nothing To Envy by Barbara Demick, about the wretched, brainwashed, brutalized, starving country that is North Korea. Everyone should read this book.

I liked her Tractors in Ukrainian book.

I also liked this, took me a wee while to get into it though.

I've just finished reading bio of Kenneth Williams and am now reading bio of Ken Dodd. My writing's going a bit odd and am resisting calling everyone Ken.

You can call me Ken any time, treacle.

Reading the story of the band the Faces, 'Had me a real good time' I do love this band.
