Looking forward to the bits about all the thousands of plague bodies buried under various London landmarks and shops and in the walls of the tube.

Ooh this looks good! Onto the wishlist it goes.

EDIT: 8 1 star reviews. Maybe not. Huh?

Oooh! Looks good!

As well as Crime and Punishment, I'm concurrently reading My Story by Ron Kray. I'll leave it to you to figure out which is the easier read.

You're going Kray crazy. You've just seen the film.

I know! I'm going to be drinking in The Blind Beggar next!

Confessions of a Chatroom Freak by Mr Biffo. It's making me laugh so much that I'm crying and my ribs hurt.

A Mad World, My Masters by Middleton and Blankets by Craig Thompson. Slightly different, although the former is actually considerably more light-hearted, if definitely not lighter reading.

Just started this graphic novel, tis good stuff:

I left my copy of "The Secret State" on a bus.

Did you know the british nuclear deterent was controlled by the AA radio network in the 60s?

They'd inform the PM he was at war. Then he'd have to call bomber command from a pay phone (for which 4 emergency pennies were carried at all times).

Wow! That was a long time ago. My oldest got one for his birthday and we were trying to figure out the placement of the decals.

So it is.

My children are impressed. Now I just have to keep fingers, eyes and toes crossed that it doesn't come up as a Halloween costume idea.

Sorry Andrea.

There's one of a guy dressed as the Deathstarthat's pretty daft.
