Yeah, I'll fully admit to being a FemaleNerd, but I have just finished watching S1&2 of that classic 1980s Young Adult Saturday teatime sci-fi treat 'The Tripods'. Boo to the BBC for not making series 3, but yes, I have ordered the book trilogy from eBay. Although it's clearly fairly dated and a bit draggy in places, I've really enjoyed it. I'm now planning to re-watch my Dad's box set of 'Sapphire and Steel'. Are any other BCGers fans of such shows? I don't want to hang around the IMDB talkboards in vain...
