POSTMAN

THE VILLAGERS IGNORE HIM AND KEEP CHANTING MOON PIG DOT COM

THE VILLAGERS DRAG THE POST MAN TO THE TOP OF THE HILL, IT'S DARK THERE IS A FULL ECLIPSE AND IT LOOKS LIKE A HUGE BLOODY PIGS HEAD HAS REPLACED THE SUN

POSTMAN
Oh God no, Oh God no you've signed for the wrong delivery.

AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL IS A GIANT WHICKER PIGEON WITH A MILKMAN AND A TNT DELIVERY MAN INSIDE OF IT

I love the idea of the logical step from policeman to other public service figures (perhaps there's a call back sketch in which an attempt to burn the fireman doesn't quite come together), very funny.

I'd personally lose the Moonpig bits, they seem a bit clunky, and would date very badly if you ever made it.

(Which you probably won't)

how interesting I wrote it with the multiple delivery men as a passing reference.

I mainly wanted to go for the weird cultishness of Moon Pig.

But I can see how that works better.

Ha - I really like this idea. It doesn't logically follow that they'd kill the postman, though, the postman being the means by which Moon Pig enters the village. Would they not be more likely to try and coerce the postman into joining them when he tries to fight against the madness?

Got you. Yes, it is an eerie jingle. Perhaps the film ref would be better as Children Of The Corn or Village Of The Damned..?

Its a sort of pastiche of the Wickerman.

The idea is what would happen if a village of evil satanists infact worshipped the Moonpig.

Maybe I should match it closer to the film.
