I have problems with the dishwasher in my new flat. Sometimes the dishwasher tablet has not fallen out of the compartment and when this happens it doesn't totally dissolve which means the wash is not at maximum efficiency.
I know this isn't important to most people but I get really worried the tablet has not fallen out of the compartment even though I have heard the compartmemt spring open and the tablet fall out. I have to go and open the dishwasher door to make sure.
In an effort to stop me getting stressed about this I have tried putting an extra tablet in with the knives and forks. But this didn't work because I still worry about the tablet in the proper tablet compartmemt.
So why not just leave the tablet compartmemt empty? I can see this is a solution but I can't cope with this because the tablet compartmemt should have a tablet in it. This is how it is designed to work and it interferes with my equilibrium if something isn't being used the way it was intended to be used. There is a special compartmemt for the tablet so a tablet should be in the compartmemt.
And the tablet should be ejected from the compartmemt at the correct time within the dishwasher cycle. I can't sleep or sit in front of the TV if I'm not sure the dishwasher has successfully ejected the tablet at the right time. I have to go and open the dishwasher door to check.
On top of this the storage heaters come on at different times each night. There is a radio controlled switch and the electric company switches the cheap electricity on. So I set the dishwasher to use the cheap electricity but the electricity company keep tricking me and change the times the cheap electricity is switched on and off and my dishwasher comes on and fails to eject the tablet using the expensive electricity.
I'm up half the night looking at the orange lights by the storage heaters waiting for them to come on before I set the dishwasher going because I can't trust them to stick to the same times. The other night they came on early but switched off again for a few hours so I was caught out when the washing machine was still going.
I wish the dishwasher had a glass front so I can see that the dishwasher has ejected the tablet without having to open the door.
I've written a letter of complaint to the manufacturers and they claim I'm using non standard dishwasher tablets, but I'm using standard ASDA tablets which eject more often than other more expensive makes. Those Fairy ones are the worst they always get stuck in the compartmemt.
One thing that is annoying is the tablets always fall out of the compartmemt properly when I run a test without dishes in the dishwasher. But as soon as I put dishes in, which is when you need the tablet, it gets stuck in the compartmemt and only partially dissolves.
