Mrs Brown's Boys - 2014 Specials

The hit sitcom is returning for two brand new specials again, one on Christmas Day and New Years Day. I am a big fan of MBB (probably one of the only ones on this site, but I think the show is hilarious).

After the success of D'Movie and the 2013 Specials and all of the sell out Live Tours, it comes as no surprise to hear these episodes have been made, I am very looking forward to seeing them.

I agree with you fully. Sadly, a lot of people I know can't stand it.

I was lucky enough to get decent seats last December for their tour, and it was brilliant. The only ones I personally didn't like was one of the Christmas specials as it goes (probably last year's).

I personally like Mrs Browns Boys but my number 1 favourite is Not Going Out.

I also agree with you TonyT in that there are a lot of haters for this sitcom.

Whether you like it or hate it you can't deny the success it has had or its popularity!

Fantastic first special tonight, a bit slow to start but soon got going. The tree was great Laughing out loud and when Agnes thought Rory was a woman and when she got Father Damien to lick the whisk. I was crying with laughter. Looking forward to the second special.

Enjoyed the second special tonight too. Another good set of Specials, shame really that they don't do another full series. I suspect some more specials are coming the end of 2015 but before that all of the cast are touring the UK arenas again to sold out audiences. Great show!

I don't know where to put this question, but are the mistakes in this show real?

...like Pamela Anderson's tits, if you ask me.
Just a cheap way to appear likeable. I can imagine O'Caroll shouting at the end of a long days' shoot: "Come on guys, we're not done yet. We have to do the feckin' bloopers!"

I've been to a few recordings and the mistakes seem very real.
