Writers & Artists Year Book 2015

Hello everyone

I wondered if anyone could tell me if the Writers & Artists yearbook is really any good for finding contacts, ie contact addresses for sending out scripts etc?

Thank you.

There all in there - but they're also all on the internet.
Better to find production companies you like and produce the kind of stuff you write - and approach them.
The Writer's Handbook tends to encourage a scatter-gun approach.

The Writers & Artists Yearbook no longer lists production companies, presumably because (as Mr Lazzard has already mentioned) they're all tired of the scattergun submissions crowd.

However, it does have a good list of literary agents, along with blurbs about whether they accept novels, scripts or both, and the themes/genres they represent.

Thank you very much gentleman for your advice, very kind of you both to take the time to reply.

Regards
