British Comedy Guide

Why is it that...........

When I have all the time in the world on a journey, there is little traffic, the lights are all green, there are no cyclists, no pedestrians trying to commit suicide etc. etc. BUT when I am on the drag, as was the case this morning, the world and his wife are on the road along with the largest artic lorries imaginable (with foreign plates), JCBs, steam rollers, tractors, combined harvesters, milk floats, cyclists riding two abreast, Sunday afternoon drivers, people wanting to turn right sitting staggered across the lane and all the pedestrian/traffic lights are at red.

GRRRRRRRRRRR...................

Don't get me started! I am a very peaceable driver and refuse to get angry at anything that happens in front of me on the roads but some days...

The cars that jump out of side roads in front of you even though there is no other car on the road besides you - then they proceed at 20mph and turn off at the next junction.

Old ladies chatting on the pavement right on the zebra crossing - are they chatting or are they about to step out?

At a busy junction when cars are coming towards you and they either don't indicate or do just as they are actually turning down the road you are on. You could have got out with early indication.

As you said people turning right but staying in the middle of the road blocking your progress.

People who's brake lights constantly flash on and off as they reach 27mph - mustn't speed there are cameras about.

All this only when you absolutely positively must be there on time :)

Maybe because you get your stiletoes stuck under the brake.
