How about this then, I don't care. I think it's a terrible show, I don't care if others like it, ok?

Sounds fine to me. I only commented because you said it was shit and clearly, in any sense, it isn't.

My bugbear is with people who are unable to differentiate between what they do not like and what is actually bad.

Apart from in the sense that it's shit? *wonders if he can make Pete gnash his teeth to splinters . . . *

No need to nash is there? Now it's apparent you have imposed your opinion onto something, wrongly, there's no need to defend it.

There's probably an interesting side issue about the nature of such people that involves an insular upbringing where their attitudes go unchallenged (i'm guessing only child, not on any sports teams, works alone, unmarried, long hair....cheated the last one) but that's for another day.

I was playing, you want to actually have a go at me? Seems a bit pointless. I have six siblings, used to play football, work in a busy office, unmarried-but-with-girlfriend. Now go away and attempt to pick on someone else, it's a tiresome trait to have Pete.

And back to Brooker.

Wow...all those siblings have left you a little quick to throw the toy.

I can hear the gnashing from here :)

I do love a good spat!

You attempted to have a go at me, I don't take kindly to strangers having a go at me. If you think the way you were acting is reasonable, then you're wrong. You obviously think yourself superior in some way, and your opinion worth more than my own, you are again wrong. Now can we forget this please, it's more than a little pathetic.

I should have realised, from having seen him post in the past, that Pete is one of those posters you just don't attempt to interact with.

All that just because I said I thought Lazy Town was shit; what in the crap is this world coming to?! :D

Pete's actually a great guy if you can just overlook his entire personality.

So I see, it's almost like you're gnashing your teeth....which I believe was how you intended me to feel. Clearly losing at a game you started is infuriating, were you the youngest of the six? Are you having "big brother's stealing your ninja turtle" flashbacks?

As for Brooker, I just feel he missed his target. The changes to kids' TV as a result of changing attitudes in society (the golly wog, the smoking, etc) is interesting, but to just pick on TV made for kids felt too easy. At one point he made a "joke" about how one character was human but was supposed to be related to a puppet"...considering it's a show for pre-school kids it felt like the sort of dumb observation that should be in the "dumb observations" thread on this site! I think he's best when he sticks to stuff made for us, otherwise it's like having Gordon Ramsey reviewing dog food. (Or Dougal dining at Ramsey's.)

Unlike now, you annoying tick, I wasn't trying to have a go at you, I was being jovial. I WAS NOT having a go for Christ's sake, I was joking around. I haven't lost any game as there is no f**king game. You, sir, are a tit; how the hell have you blown this up into some sort of pathetic exercise in points scoring? And I don't have any big brothers. Now f**k the f**k off and let's not go any further down the rabbit hole.

Seesh, I need to stop myself getting involved in these little spats, they're annoying and time consuming.

I have been enjoying this latest series of Brooker, he's always good value. Especially liked the weird American Christian show they featured this week!

Then what on Earth are you doing? Have you no self control? For God's sake, except you over reacted to my defence of a child's TV show and move on. I suggest you do so by not responding to this, as per the advice you gave above!

Oh Christ. Nope, no self control. There was no over reaction. Now I'm leaving work so shall sign out and leave your crazy assed self behind. Byeee.

Byeee :D

Bit of a poor episode but a really nice tribute to Postgate, it felt very genuine and was a good end to the episode.

It was boring this week, imo. That is all.
