Blog/podcast naming

Hello out there...
Due to living abroad half the time and inherent misery, I ve moved away from
performing and gone back to writing stuff, mostly sketches and monologues.

As an outlet, just to get something down and out every day, I'm going to start a blog and record
some bits which might go into a podcast -with the help of tech-savvie friends.

My first quandary is what to call it /them? Any advice from readers, listeners, creators on naming would be very useful please... There's been a lot of conflicting advice from mates and googling for answers.

Should blog and podcast have the same name?

Should I use just my name for the blog? Darrenlhoskins.com or the closest I can get? -Seems a bit cold and podcast will be more of a communal effort.

There are some nice names that are from well known jokes or sayings... I thought "Buttersidedown.com", but that's taken, so I thaught "Butter-side-down.com". Is that too unwieldy and is anything with 'down' in it too depressing to pull people in? -Though it is more 'me' maybe.
"Buttersideup.com " is gone, so I tried similar words, " Butterslideup.com" sounds too analsexy, or is that good?

Should it be something more personal to me ? Or should I avoid anything that needs any explaining? - I wanted to mix the show biz glamour of " Les Mis" with my late Dads very unshowbiz
name of Les Hoskins.. Le Cabaret de Les Hoskins or " Cabaretdeleshoskins.com" as a domain name. Much too complicated? Would the French leave out the h in Hoskins ? Any variation you can think of please?
I was brought up on a farm, my Dad was always comparing me with the more outdoorsy boy from the farm next door, Vince Martin could carry 2 sheep under each arm. How about
"2sheepundereacharm.com" ? Or any mention of sheep not a good idea?
Apologies for rambling, big thanks for any help...

Podca Del Hoskins?

Or maybe:

Ctrl + Del + Hoskins.

If you want your podcast to have a theme, then maybe best to use something to do with that.

I have no idea how many blogs or podcasts there are out there but there does seem to be rather a lot. Any numpty with a mic and access to the internet can broadcast their drivel nowadays . Look at George Osborne. So my advice would be not to call it anything too wanky, in a hey look at me aren't I Wild and Crazy and Zany kind of way - because you know how funny people who make such claims about themselves more than usually turn out to be.

Slices is good because it says something about the nature of the product you are offering. Is Buttered Slices taken? Something with nuggets etc? I only ever did one but I called mine Pod Noodles. Which I quite liked. Good luck with it, if it is funny update us here :)

I like "buttered slices" , sounds Alan Bennetty .
Cheers both...
