Yo Yo Yo it's the return of Halfwaygangster. Straight-up dawgs.
Here it is:
Gangster Lovin'
Posted on September 3, 2014 by HughesBunburying
Two cowboys are standing twenty feet apart facing each other
Cowboy 1: [tilts head to the side]
Cowboy 2: [chin raised]:
Cowboy 1: When that clock strikes 12 you ain't my brother no more, Johnny.
Cowboy 2: You can't never forget the past can you Billy?
Billy: I used to look up to you Johnny. But you left me like a dead dog.
Johnny: I don't want us to live as outlaws no more. I had to walk away you from you Billy.
Billy: Dang it Johnny, you always be trying to find answers elsewhere. But I tell you, it's right here in front of us. This is what we do Johnny.
Johnny: Outlaws never be making anything good. I just want to do some good for once Billy.
Billy: You used to be the most cold blooded thing I ever knew.
Johnny: Leave it behind now Billy I ain't like that no more.
Billy (checks the clock edging closer to 12 noon): Remember the time I used to make them sandwiches with cucumbers in between? Then you would leave half a cucumber in dad's pockets?
Johnny: They be my favourite still, Billy, but I still feel the hurt dad feels.
Billy: Remember the time you used to steal uncle Clanton's boots, and then we would wear them on one foot each and skip across the dust?
Johnny: He never found his boots again. Don't ever tell me that story.
Billy: How about the time you put salt in the gentleman's whiskey at Holy Moses?
Johnny: I still see his darn face every time I treat myself to some whiskey. Just let go of the past Billy, we be outlaws no more. I ain't cold blooded like I used to be.
Billy: Really Johnny? What if I told you I put gum inside your shoes before you tried them today? You're standing on it right now.
Johnny: No Billy, don't you dare tempt me like that, don't you dare.
Bends down and takes off shoe. As he does the gum stretches between the sole of the shoe and his socks. Absolute terror springs across his face then almost immediately followed by a deep palpable rage.
Clock starts chiming as the long hand hits 12 noon. As Johnny looks up, Billy is now gone leaving a trail of dust behind.
Johnny(with shoe in one hand and gun drawn on the other, running across the dusty track with a lump of gum in his sock): You're damn right I ain't your brother no more Billy.
