Why do you post these things

Why not mate? No one else posts much in critique - Plus it amuses me

Bit of work it could work . As a written piece greatly edited and with, I might say, a stronger punch.

I know yeah, must admit - didn't spend too long on this one - in fact the hardest bit was putting the spaces in between the paragraphs. I think Sootyj called it pretty well really.

There's a few different punchlines I was thinking of - like:

Joe's mother said he had a love of life and an outgoing personality. All in all, there was a good turn out and the wake was held at their local pub.

At 2am, they got some coke and hookers and Bill got some crack. Bless 'im.

Steve was at a picnic in his bedroom, he'd invited all his teddy bear friends but it was only Steve who got drunk that night. The teddy bears just sat there, counting the bottles.

Harry had snuck into Snape's office. He had to try 35 different potions. He gave himself warts, a hump, and the aids before turning himself into a frog, turning himself back into a boy and getting rid of the aids and the hump but he finally managed to get rid of the magical narrator who was narrating his life.

Intelligent burglar alarm at an off license

Steve was having a happy fun picnic in his bedroom with his friends; his teddies, but it was only Steve who got drunk that night. The bears just sat there; counting the bottles. Revenge would be soon.

Jim hadn't realised yet but the enchanted monkeys that cleaned his room had learnt to count
